Winter Newsletter

The first term of lessons has gone by in a blur and we are now into the second half of the music year.  It is always wonderful to see everyone each week and begin or continue new musical journeys.  Please be sure to mark the following dates in your calendars.

SECOND TERM TUITION

The notices for 2nd term tuition have now been sent out.  Payment can be done online or by cheque.  The deadline for receiving tuition is February 10th.  Thank you.

MUSIC PARTY

When:  Sunday, March 1st 2:30-4:30pm

Where:  St. Helen’s Anglican Church

What:  Music games, activities, food, prizes and mini recital

Who:  All levels/ages

LIMITED SPACE.  SIGN UP NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 20th.

GROUP VOICE

Attention voice students!  I have spoken to some of you regarding the two group songs for the year end recital.  We will begin rehearsals quite soon, as both numbers are more detailed than previous ones we have done.  If you feel you are unable to attend the majority of rehearsals (Sunday afternoons), please let me know as soon as you are able.  I will have a schedule posted in the next week.  Our two songs are Flying Free by Don Besig and “Innocent or Guilty?” from Goldilocks and the Three Bears:  The Musical

YEAR END RECITALS

The year end recitals will take place on SUNDAY, JUNE 14th.  

Dress rehearsal for duets, ensembles and voice is on MONDAY, JUNE 8th
