October Newsletter

The wonderful Fall season has begun.  Rain, wind and colourful leaves!  The first weeks of lessons have passed and it is great to settle into the routine of lessons, rehearsals and practicing.

Pizza Party Challenge: Many students have taken on the challenge to complete the Pizza Chart…and there is room for more!  There is still time to pick up a chart.  Take your music to the next level with new ways to practice your piece.  When you’ve completed the chart, you’ll get a slice of pie!  The Pizza Party will take place in January.

HALLOWEEN RECITAL

Sunday, October 28^th, 2018 @ 3:00pm

St. Helen’s Anglican Church – 4405 West 8^th@ Trimble

Join us for a fun afternoon of students performing both piano and vocal selections.  There may even be a spooky tune or two.

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the studio…if you are planning on attending, please indicate so at your next lesson.

Performers, parents, siblings and guests are all welcome to come in their Halloween costumes!  This is always a highlight at this event.  Students who are not performing in this recital are invited to come and cheer on your friends and hear some great music.  Treats and goodies to follow.

THERE ARE NO LESSONS ON HALLOWEEN – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31^st.

Teen Social (Ages 13+)

Saturday, November 24^th6-8pm

For teens only!  Get together with other teens from the studio and swap stories, ideas and play games.  This will be a great way for everyone to get a break from your busy schedule and get together and talk music, school and anything else. This is a technology free event! Sign up will be posted on the bulletin board.
